The Black Passport

The supporters of AIK Fotboll live in a black-and-yellow world, and within that world lies everything that matters to them. Ahead of this year’s season ticket sales period, we asked them a simple question: What does AIK mean to you? Thousands of responses poured in through a digital submission, filled with stories, memories and symbols.

To strengthen the black-and-yellow unity, we redefined the season ticket – from a function to a marker of identity – by creating a new kind of season ticket proof: the physical passport The Black Passport.

Based on supporters’ responses, 32 moments were curated and compiled in The Black Passport: from club legend Lennart Johansson and the club’s twelve Swedish championships to cultural highlights such as Martin Mutumba’s ironic explanation of why he is one of the league’s worst players.
